Call for members—Capital Markets Advisory Committee Background The Capital Markets Advisory Committee (CMAC) is currently seeking new candidates to join the CMAC from 1 January 2019 for a term of three years, renewable once for a further three years. The CMAC welcomes applications from analysts and investors from all over the world. What is the CMAC? The CMAC is an independent advisory body established with the specific aim of providing regular input from an international community of users of financial statements to the International Accounting Standards Board (Board). The Board develops IFRS ® Standards, which are required for use by companies in more than 100 countries, including two-thirds of the G20. The purpose of the CMAC is to represent to the Board the perspectives of professional capital market participants who are users of financial reporting information, such as analysts, investors and ratings agencies.
